    Not every MVP shoots free throws. The MVP Academic Performance Medal is for the students who lead in the classroom: the top of the honor roll, the peer tutor, the one who raised everyone's grade average. At just $0.50 each, a school can recognize a whole grade level at an assembly without raiding the activity fund.

    Principals and teachers can use it for quarter honors, end-of-year awards, spelling bees and reading challenges. It gives academics the same kind of moment athletics gets, with a medal worn on stage and shown to family afterward.

    Add your school logo with full-color UV print, and engrave the student's name or the year with a laser. Pick a neckband in school colors. Principals who run monthly assemblies can keep a box on hand so there is always one ready.
